The folks over at youthministry360 have just launched another round of free resources, just in time for Thanksgiving. They're giving away four differe. Many creative Christian Bible Games, Bible Crafts, Bible Lessons and more for Sunday School and children's ministry. Ages preschool to teen. This Thanksgiving Bible game helps students expand their minds when thinking of what they're thankful for, and it will also help them practice school skills. Over the years, we have created several free resources related to. This page links to those materials so you can put together a special Bible lesson, craft, or activity for you children’s ministry. Thanksgiving Bible Lessons • – This kids Bible lesson is based on Psalm 100 and will help children develop an attitude of thanksgiving. • – This flexible lesson has several learning activities and would work well in Sunday school or Children’s Church. • – This lesson is targeted for older elementary kids but could be easily adapted. Here’s a few to try that are sure to bring laughter, fun, and amazing photo opportunities!!! These games are easy to set up, materials are not expensive, and they can be easily modified to fit the size and needs of your group. You can easily pick a couple and then have a discussion regarding the meaning of Thanksgiving and being Thankful, or simply do an entire night of games. ![]() I’ve done both. The past two years, I have coupled a few games with my “The First Thanksgiving, A Tale of Two Bros” story which I wrote a previous blog post about (check my blog page for that one, it’s awesome!!!) It relates the story of Cain & Abel and is a great discussion for teens on the Attitude of Gratitude. The Game Ideas Listed In Detail Below Are: 1) For Thanksgiving Dinner I Had. A variety of mini-pilgrim hats, turkey leg and turkey headbands, large pilgrim hat, etc. All purchased at party city relatively cheaply. I try to add to my collection each year and then save them for re-use in the future. My ‘Thanksgiving Wear’ variety is in the picture you see here. Game 1- For Thanksgiving Dinner I had This game is a great ice breaker and works well with a medium to large group. MATERIALS- None needed Have the teens sit in a circle. Person #1 starts by saying, “My name is Jenn and for Thanksgiving I had Turkey.” Person sitting next to the first person (either right or left) continues by repeating what the first person said they had for Thanksgiving and then adding something to it.
